Our Story

Founded in 2010 in Ningbo, China, Kovalite began as a focused manufacturer of low-power aluminum flashlights. What started as a small operation serving domestic trading companies has evolved into a comprehensive portable lighting solutions provider for global brands.

Since 2015, we've built and sustained long-term supply partnerships with established U.S. brands -- including Guidesman, BRAUN, Police Security, VARTA, and Stanley -- not as a one-time vendor, but as a trusted development and manufacturing partner. These relationships pushed us to invest early: by 2018, our factory had grown from 35 to 55 staff, equipped with integrating sphere photometers, IPX4-IPX6 waterproof testing rigs, and aging test systems. Annual output crossed ¥20M CNY that year, and doubled to over ¥40M CNY by 2024. That same year, we officially commissioned our BOI-certified factory in Thailand -- giving our partners a genuine dual-origin supply option that supports tariff flexibility, compliance requirements, and regional sourcing strategies across North America, Europe, and beyond.
